Envelope Following Fuzz

Provides control voltage for FatMan velocity pots, and fuzzed signal for VCF


Parts Required:

  • 1) NSL32 (Silonix) or CLM-6000 (Clairex) optocoupler

  • 1) CD 4049 UBE hex inverter

  • 3) 3.9 meg resistors

  • 2) 1 K resistors

  • 2) 10 meg resistors

  • 2) 100 K resistors

  • 2) .01 mfd capacitors

  • 1) .22 mfd capacitor

  • 1) 100 K potentiometer

  • 1) 100 ohm resistor

  • 1) 2N4124 transistor

  • 2) 1N914 signal diodes

    • Some Notes:

    Use a SPDT to select from wire (AJ), the velocity control signal, and the control voltage output of the circuit.This switch connects to velocity control pots R69 and R104.

    Use a SPDT switch to select from LUG 2 of R56 (VCO1/VCO2 Mix) and the audio output of the fuzz. This switch connects to point (G), input to the VCF.
